Please see Fees and Grants payment deadlines and information on how to pay here: (Fee Payment Deadlines: 50% of Fees are due by 31 st October 2022 and the balance is due by 15 th January 2023) Applicants must have €1500 of their fees paid by 31st October 2022 or have a payment plan established in order to receive their payment.Students whose application is successful must meet the following conditions in order to receive payment: Students who apply to the fund are assessed on an individual and confidential basis.Īpplications to the SAF will open at 2pm on September 14th and close on the 31st October 2022. Unfortunately, not all applications will be successful due to limited funds.

However, students who are non-EU nationals, but who are eligible for free or reduced fees in line with the criteria for the Free Fees Initiative, may be considered for the SAF subject to meeting the eligibility criteria. International/non-EU fee paying students are not eligible for funding.

Please note funding is not available under this fund for the cost of tuition or registration fees. Applicants must meet the application eligibility criteria. The fund provides a further source of funding for higher education students in addition to the SUSI grant.Īpplication to the Fund is open to full-time and part-time registered students on a course of not less than one year's duration leading to an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification (excluding night study). The Student Assistance Fund provides financial assistance for students who are experiencing financial difficulty whilst attending college. The SAF is allocated to higher education institutes (HEIs).
